Refund Policy

The Blueprint Pass or Refund Guarantee

The Blueprint is built to help you pass the FE Civil exam. If you follow the methodology and still fail the exam, you can request a refund. The full terms are below.

Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund under the pass or refund guarantee if all of the following are true:

1. You purchased The Blueprint: Essentials, The Blueprint: Full Ride, or Blueprint + Coaching from seriouscivilengineer.com.
2. You scheduled your FE Civil exam through NCEES within 30 days of your purchase date. You must be able to provide documentation showing the registration date and the scheduled exam date.
3. You took the FE Civil exam within 120 days of your purchase date.
4. You received an official fail result from NCEES.
5. You submit your refund request within 30 days of receiving your exam result.

How to request a refund

Email contact@seriouscivilengineer.com with the subject line "Refund request: Blueprint pass guarantee" and include:

• The full name used at purchase
• The email address used at purchase
• The date of purchase
• The product purchased (Essentials, Full Ride, or Coaching)
• The date you scheduled your exam (proof of registration acceptable)
• The date you took the exam
• A screenshot of your official NCEES result showing the fail outcome

Once we receive your request, we will verify the information and process your refund within 7 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at purchase.

Limitations

This guarantee is limited to one refund per customer. If you have previously received a refund under this guarantee, additional purchases of The Blueprint products are not eligible for the pass or refund guarantee.

Customers who request a refund will retain access to the digital materials they downloaded but will be removed from the email list and any active sequences.

The guarantee covers the purchase price of the Blueprint product only. It does not cover the NCEES exam fee, any third-party prep materials, or any other expenses related to your exam preparation.

For Blueprint + Coaching: refund requests submitted after the coaching call has been used will refund the price of the Blueprint product portion only, not the coaching portion. Refund requests submitted before the coaching call is scheduled will refund the full purchase price.

What is not covered

The pass or refund guarantee does not apply in the following situations:

• You did not schedule your exam within 30 days of purchase
• You did not take the exam within 120 days of purchase
• You took the exam without using or implementing The Blueprint methodology
• You changed your mind about purchasing after downloading the product but before taking the exam
• You requested a refund more than 30 days after receiving your exam result

Standard refund policy

Because The Blueprint products are digital and delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer standard refunds for change of mind, accidental purchase, or buyer remorse. The pass or refund guarantee is the sole refund mechanism available for The Blueprint products.

Free lifetime updates

All Blueprint products include free lifetime access to future updates and revisions. Updates are delivered automatically via email when released. You do not need to repurchase to receive updated versions.
